Gregor Zehetner

I am a founder, exited entrepreneur, and advisor with more than two decades at the intersection of technology and business. I started coding at 16 and built my career across enterprise software, mobile innovation, and SaaS-IoT. After nearly a decade as a Technical Consultant and certified Project Manager at Fabasoft, delivering enterprise software projects across the DACH region, I moved into mobile innovation at Phactum during the early smartphone era. In 2014, I co-founded Tapkey, a SaaS-IoT platform for digital access control, which I scaled from zero revenue to international rollout as CEO. The company was acquired by DOM Security, a subsidiary of the Paris-listed Groupe SFPI. Today, I run GZE Advisory in Austria, providing strategic sparring, fractional CxO engagements, and M&A advisory to tech startups and scale-ups. I am a cooperation partner of AustrianStartups, tech2b, the TU Vienna Innovation Incubation Center, and the Founder Institute, and a member of the foundation for the future of entrepreneus in Austria ("Stiftung Unternehmerische Zukunft in Österreich") . In 2026 I founded Fractionista, Europe's marketplace for fractional C-level executives, which I am building as a solo founder, combining first-hand experience as an operator with hands-on product development. What I bring to the table: technical depth, operator experience from zero to exit, an established network in the European startup ecosystem, and the perspective of someone who has navigated fundraising, scaling, and M&A from the founder's seat.
