Nidia Knight

I am a Portuguese CHRO and HR transformation leader, currently building a portfolio career as a fractional executive and non-executive director after more than two decades in senior in-house roles across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. I am relocating to Portugal, my country of citizenship, later this year. My career spans Accenture, EY, Santa Fe Relocations, Crown Relocations and most recently, International SOS, where I served as Group General Manager, International HR and Transformation, and then as CHRO for the Medical Services business. Across these roles I built and led talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, payroll, HR operations and global mobility functions, and I have operated on all three sides of the market, as an in-house buyer, a service provider and a Big Four advisor. That range shapes how I diagnose problems and design solutions. I specialise in HR transformation, global operating model design, global mobility policy, workforce technology and organisational governance, with sector depth in logistics, healthcare and professional services. My transformation work delivered documented savings in the multi-million-dollar range across several major initiatives. Alongside executive and advisory work, I hold a Non-Executive Board seat with WERC Talent Everywhere, where I sit on the Finance Committee and act as board liaison to the Ambassadors Work Group. I have completed the Financial Times Non-Executive Director Diploma, and I am a certified organisational coach through IECL and a ICF member. I now offer this experience through board and advisory work, project consulting in mobility, people transformation and M&A integration as well as leadership development and coaching, based from Portugal with flexibility to travel across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
