Paul Reader is an experienced CEO, COO and transformation operator with 25+ years building, scaling and transforming technology businesses across AI, SaaS and enterprise software. He works with founders, CEOs, boards and investors where strategy needs to be translated into operational execution, organisational change and measurable enterprise value. Paul has served as CEO and COO of two venture-backed AI companies. He led Oxford University AI spin-out Mind Foundry as Interim CEO and COO, and most recently served as CEO of computer vision physical AI company Thingtrax. His earlier leadership experience includes Chief Strategy Officer and SVP Operations at Wayin, Head of Strategy & Organisational Development at Oracle Marketing Cloud, and senior leadership at Eloqua during its rapid international growth and subsequent acquisition by Oracle. His work spans fractional COO leadership, AI transformation, business transformation, operating model design, strategy-to-execution, go-to-market and organisational scaling. He is particularly interested in helping established businesses determine where AI can create meaningful enterprise value and redesign how people, AI agents and software work together. Paul combines strategic perspective with hands-on operating experience. He has led companies and functions through growth, restructuring, fundraising, international expansion, organisational redesign and technology transformation, and is comfortable working across commercial, operational, product and technology teams. He holds a postgraduate qualification in Strategy & Innovation from the University of Oxford and works with organisations in Ireland and the UK.
