Pierre-Julien Barraud

Pierre-Julien Barraud is an international business executive, entrepreneur and strategic advisor with 20+ years of experience helping technology companies grow through global business development, strategic partnerships, sales and fundraising. A Centrale Lyon engineer and INSEAD MBA, he combines a strong technology background with hands-on commercial and operational leadership. He spent more than a decade at EON Reality, a pioneer in Augmented and Virtual Reality, where he led business development and partnerships across EMEA. He built and managed an international team of regional managers and channel partners, expanded the company from zero to five offices in the region, and grew EMEA to represent approximately 50% of global revenues. He also served on the company’s Board of Directors and worked directly with C-suite executives, governments and major international partners. Since 2021, Pierre-Julien has been advising and supporting technology startups across AI, XR, IoT, EdTech and HealthTech, with a particular focus on international expansion, go-to-market strategy, partnerships and fundraising. He has also taken interim C-level and advisory roles, working alongside founders to turn ambitious technologies into scalable businesses. More recently, he has been active as an early-stage investor and advisor in HealthTech, supporting fundraising and commercialization strategies. His profile sits at the intersection of fractional executive leadership, international business development and fundraising , with particular experience helping innovative companies enter new markets, build distribution channels, secure strategic partners and engage investors. Pierre-Julien has worked internationally throughout his career, managed multicultural teams and travelled to more than 60 countries. He speaks French and English. He is a co-inventor of seven international patents.
