I take fractional product and AI seats with companies that have outgrown running product themselves, and advisory board seats where the question is what to build and what to stop building. Twenty-seven years of building, beginning as a founder. I launched Visuals Active Media, a media production company, in 2002 and exited it through a merger with a regional telecom operator in 2005, then ran the group's data services arm as Commercial Director. Three director-level product seats back to back in domains with no playbook: federal biometric identity, Web3 ticketing, and AI agents. Director title in all three, hands on in all three. At flockx I drove the pivot from community app to AI agent workbench, and growth went from tens of daily signups to 1,000 new accounts in a week. At YellowHeart I cut fraud and refund claims from over 50% to 3-4%, and took onboarding friction down 82%. At Zeva I owned an encryption product end to end and the U.S. Treasury became a customer, while my design work went into an IAL3 biometric platform that now deploys across USPS locations nationwide. I now work a different way. Through Syntrex Consulting FZCO I direct AI engineering teams and they write the code. A working proof of concept stood in two weeks. The six months after that went into building the platform four applications now run on, and the operating system that builds them. The first app is live in production and I release every few days. The part most buyers cannot get elsewhere is the layer underneath: mechanical gates the AI workers cannot talk past, separation of actors so nothing judges its own work, evaluation designed before anything ships, and a named human owner on every approval. Most AI programmes stall because nobody owns that layer. I work remote from Lisbon. I am useful when the AI plan has run ahead of the foundations, when product direction needs an owner who has shipped, or when a board needs someone who can tell a demo from a system.
