I am an independent IT and AI transformation leader who provides experienced technology leadership to organisations without the need for a permanent full-time executive. My experience spans the full technology lifecycle — from IT purchasing, administration, web development and database management to systems engineering, service delivery, IT consulting and senior operations leadership. Having worked both hands-on and in management roles, including as Head of Service Operations for a managed-services and data-centre provider, I understand technology from the technical, operational and business perspectives. My strengths lie in quickly making sense of complex environments, identifying what genuinely matters and turning strategy into pragmatic, achievable action. I support SMEs that need experienced IT leadership on a flexible, part-time or project-based basis. Typical assignments include stabilising IT operations, modernising infrastructure and workplace services, improving governance and service management, managing vendors, strengthening security and resilience, and developing realistic transformation roadmaps. I also help organisations identify and implement valuable uses of AI, automation and agentic workflows. My focus is not technology for its own sake, but solutions that reduce friction, improve quality and create measurable business value. I combine the perspective of a strategic leader, consultant and technologist. I am particularly effective in situations where responsibilities have become fragmented, IT has grown without sufficient structure, transformation initiatives are stalled, or management needs an independent and commercially grounded technology partner.
